Overpass | @purelyamuse

I love Purelyamuse. She is without a doubt one on my favorite writers. Her stories never disappoint, even when she is making me cry. She writes truly beautiful angst. Not the kind that is over the top or ends with tragedy.
Just a pure emotional believable story.
"Think of this moment, right now, as an overpass. That's our past all the way over there." He nods toward Alice's neighborhood. "And we're here now, on this bridge making decisions. But over there . . ." He points toward my home, his hand coming close to my body when he does, and I'm mesmerized by it. "That's our future. We just have to walk to it. Go from one side to the other. And I'm not saying it won't be scary or that we won't have problems, but I really want to get to the other side. I want to get there with you." - Edward chap 14
Masen Rules & Masen Rules: The Beginning | @CaraWritesFic

I am hooked on a drabble and I am not a fan of the drabble, never have been. But every once in awhile one will come along that just grabs me and won't let go. *shakes fist at CaraNo* for making me bend my rules.
CaraNo is a well known fandom writer whose stories vary tremendously on the genre spectrum. From high angst to silly crack fics to explosive erotica. Not all her stories may be for you but I am pretty sure you will find one or two you really like and if that happens, your hooked.
Masen Rules and Masen Rules: The Beginning, yep I am rec'ing them together because I am loving reading them together, both have actual story lines and characterizations which is something I normally find lacking in the drabble. Now technically they aren't drabbles, they are more a drabblish very short story with daily multiple updates. But that's neither here nor there, what's important is they are both very good and very addictive.
The summaries piqued my interest. She is very good at summaries...
Sometimes rules do more harm than good. Sometimes they're meant to be broken. Bella takes a risk and sets out to break the most important rule of them all. Well, it's the most important one to the Masens.
Our beginning was rocky as hell; we both screwed up a lot, but we came out strong—solid. The first year was the worst, yet I fell so hard for that girl. (Prequel to Masen Rules)
Short, to the point, the story line unfolding, the characterizations building, an immediate likable story. A very simplistic story.
Edward and Bella are married, very much in love, and have a daughter, baby girl as they call her. They both have troubled pasts including addiction but have come out of it better and stronger. This is where the simplicity ends.
In Masen Rules: The Beginning, we meet Edward who has walked away from his family and striking out on his own, working as an apprentice tattoo artist and very passionate about it. He definitely has his faults but you can see his characterization developing in the prequel as well as all the "Masen Rules" he lives by. He meets Bella by chance, definitely down on her luck, struggling, making bad decisions, but strong in her will to survive. There is an attraction, but a more realistic attraction. Masen Rules: The Beginning is only a few chapters in but you definitely get the feel for who these two are and what they straggle to overcome personally and together.
Masen Rules is also very simple in it's story line. Bella is now a nurse working in a nursing home. Edward owns a tattoo shop. They have a good life together but Bella wants Edward to have more, namely his father who he hasn't seen let alone spoken to in 10 years. And that's where the story takes off beautifully in it's presentation.
There is a wonderful supporting cast including "Uncle Cullen", Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, and Alec, all are OCC. You will definitely be amused and will love their characterizations.
Read them together for a full explanation in to the life of the Masen's. Both are equally addictive where you will be greedy for more updates.
CaraNo is quite the talented story teller and writer. These are two stories you will want to read and you will really enjoy. For those who know her previous stories, you will love these new stories. And for those new to CaraNo's imaginative world, you won't be disappointed.

Chop and Change by @KrazyK85_

Story Link | Author Profile
Summary: While trying to steal his car, runaway, Bella, meets Edward. A man with his own vices and rap sheet. Taking her under his wing, teaching her the way to truly boost cars, they embark on a journey of crime fitting of Bonnie and Clyde.
I love a bad boy story, especially a Darkward and Chopward is a bad bad boy. No pretending, he is a criminal and loves his life, he chose his life.
You are completely drawn in. You are mesmerized. You can't look away.
That is Chop and Change in a nutshell. You can not look away from the story.
Oh Chopward...tatted, pierced, smexy, rough, tough, and ruthless...
You know, the type of guy that we should run away from. But do you run? Absolutely you run, right in to the arm's of the bad boy.
And that's exactly what our Bella does upon their initial meeting. A meeting of Bella trying to steal Edward's car. She is completely drawn in as is Edward to her, though his initial instinct is to kill her for trying to steal his beloved Tanya.
Chapter after chapter is crazy action. These two together are explosive and extremely volatile. Love them even though what they are doing is so wrong, just can't help rooting for them.
KrazyK85 is writing a fun over the top story that is packed full of explosive situations with a side of serious smexiness. These two are insatiable for each other and majorly possessive!
A definite read with an amazing flow in the story line. Every chapter is a hit, no idea how she keeps it up but I am glad she does!
Here's an excerpt/teaser for the next upcoming chapter...
“Alice says their plane lands in thirty minutes,” Edward said, glancing away from his phone and over at me.
“Ten minutes is all we've got to get in and get out.”
Tick, tock, tick-fucking-tock.
“We’ll circle the block a few times,” Peter said, pulling over, “but if you’re not out by nine-thirty, Char and I are gone.”
“You do what you have to do, man,” Edward said, leaning forward and patting Peter on the back. “If we’re not out by then, go back to the hotel and wait a couple of hours, and if we don’t show, just destroy everything and head back to Phoenix.”
“Are you expecting that we’re going to get caught?” I asked.
“No,” he said, tucking the Colt into his belt, “but it’s smart to plan for failure.”
“What about Jasper and Emmett?” Charlotte’s soft and caring eyes were wide with concern.
“Can you text them for us? Just let them know that shit went astray and to get the fuck out of the country as soon as possible.”
“Of course,” Charlotte’s smile was warm, “we’re family.” She reached over the seat and grasped Edward’s hand, a soft stroke, and a gentle squeeze.
It was instant.
The strong and powerful ping of jealousy shot through me, pumping and pulsating in my veins. I felt it deep in my bones. A prickly and uncomfortable sensation on my skin, manifesting into this glaring hatred for this woman, who continued to touch what was mine, and I wanted her to stop.
Seconds ticked by slowly as I waited for Charlotte to remove her hand before I acted on my murderous thoughts.
“Um, thanks,” Edward said, breaking away from the hold she had on him and grabbed my wrists, pinning them down to my lap. I had no idea that I’d been reaching for my gun. “Let’s hope that it doesn't come to violence,” he said to her but was speaking to me.

Much kudos to forthelongestday as well for a banner that has hit it right out of the park with her interpretation of the story. I love graphics and when an artist visually brings a story to life, it makes me even more excited for the story.

Forever Hold Your Peace by Jake's Girl of @JBNP
“If anyone knows why this man and this woman should not be joined in holy matrimonylet them speak now, or forever hold their peace... forever hold your peace... for fuckingever...”
Even an Edward lover can enjoy a wolf fic when written well regardless of the pairing.
Then again, a good story is a good story I always say and you shouldn't be afraid to give something different a try.
Then again, a good story is a good story I always say and you shouldn't be afraid to give something different a try.
Forever Hold Your Piece is just that kind of story.
The story starts out with Bella on her wedding day. And typical of the Bella-ism we always find, she is chewing her lip, nervous, and torn with who she wants to be with. We all know the story, Bella loving both Edward and Jacob.
Personally, I never went in for the triangle and can always appreciate a writer who can realistically untangle the web Twilight created for us.

Jake's Girl gives us the flip side of BD, of what could have happened if Jacob did follow through and reached for what he really wanted...Bella.
And though only three chapters long, the story is packed full of emotion starting with shock, confusion, hurt, and finally, understanding.
And no Edward bashing which is always a plus for me.
Jake's Girl weaves the story in a very believable manner where Edward knows deep down Bella belongs with Jacob and graciously steps aside. You have to read it to see how that happens but I can tell you this, it was masterful.
And there is a little added perk for the Non-Alice fans like me.
Jeepers she has ruined many a story for me. Jakes's Girl gives us a nice little jab at her and delivered wonderfully by Bella. Hallelujah!
Forever Hold Your Peace was a very likable little story.
If your a Jacob/Bella fan, you will absolutely love it.
And even if your an Edward lover, you will definitely have a smile on your face while reading.
You go Jake's Girl! Very well done!
Give the story a try, I am certain you will be pleased and start stalking around JBNP looking for some more stories that give a really nice balance for us all.

Love A Bad Boy? Let Me Introduce You To My Favorite Bad Boy...Darkward
So many stories, so many Edward's to choose from. I love them all. What can I say, I love Edward. But my favorite Edward is a dark and naughty Edward.
And the bad boy of them all...Darkward.
And the bad boy of them all...Darkward.
I love Darkward. He is without a doubt my favorite Edward.
There is something so alluring about the dangerous and dark side of this character.
You are completely drawn in. Mesmerized. Can't look away. Heart hammering. Hair stands up on the back of your neck. Skin prickles. Breath quickens. Pulse racing. Palms sweating. Hands to throat trying to hold back the scream.
You know, the type of guy that we should run away from. But do you run? Absolutely you run, right in to the arm's of the bad boy.
You know, the type of guy that we should run away from. But do you run? Absolutely you run, right in to the arm's of the bad boy.
And why would you do that? Because you must.
Not really much of an answer is it? Then how about these...
Danger: The dangerous elements of a bad boy often make them irresistible to women who feel pressure to follow society’s rules. Bad boys lead us off on those dark roads that are unexplored giving us an excuse to throw caution to the wind.
Looks: A bad boy may be unconventionally beautiful. His inner spirit radiates, drawing women to him. He might often have long hair and be covered in tattoos and sometimes it may only be the dark look in his eyes that signals he is defying society’s norms.
Passion: Bad boys are deeply passionate. If they are quiet, every woman wants to be the one he confesses his true inner thoughts. They take what they want in life with a rough style all their own. The raw show of masculinity is an intoxicating aphrodisiac.
Power: A bad boy never relinquishes power in a relationship. He will tame the spoiled, the bored, the heartbreaker and bring them to a new level of awareness in life, then leave them. Although many will try to tame a bad boy, there will always be new depths of mystery to them that are inaccessible.
The exhilaration from being with a bad boy can be very freeing. They allow us to stretch our imaginations and let go of fear.
You are drawn in to their worlds without even thinking twice let alone the repercussions or consequences of your actions.
I will always be drawn to the bad boy in any story. And Darkward is no exception.
And if you can find well written Darkward stories, you will be a confirmed believer in the darkness and obsessively looking for more.
Keep in mind though these are not stories that update quickly, sometimes months go by. But it doesn't matter. They are so well written and alluring, you will wait for them.
And why? Because you must.
These are my three current Darkward stories that I absolutely love. As soon as any of them update, I am immediately on them.
We have Preyward, Ripperward, and the naughtiest of them all, Gingerward.
Definitely give them a look. If you love Darkward, you will love these three bad boys...

The Perfect Trade by @Eternallyinlov1
Summary: Bella's father is knee deep in debt and can't afford to pay. So, when James Cullen comes to deal out the punishment, Charlie decides to get rid of his debt by trading his daughter, Isabella, to the Cullen Mafia. Dark Themes, OOC
I first came across The Perfect Trade when @ToTheDreaming tweeted it one night. It is a Mobward story, something I normally do not go in for, but I figured let me take a look...
The Perfect Trade completely surprised me! I love being surprised!
"I...I traded you, Bells,"
I was quiet as I let what he had just told me sink in. He had traded me to pay off his debts. Is that what he's trying to tell me?
"Dad, that's not funny," I said, shaking his hands off my face. "What kind of sick joke is that?"
Dad looked down at his boots, "I'm so sorry, Bella."
What in the blazes!! You traded your daughter to pay off gambling debts?!? Oy!! This is something I have got to read just to see where the author is going with such a punch in the gut prologue.
And where is Eternallyinlove going? Down the path of a dirty, gritty, grab you by the throat good read!
"Tell me you forgive me,"
"Are you for real?" I asked.
"Please,"
"You gave me away like I was a piece of fucking bubblegum," I snapped. "No, I'm not going to forgive you."
"I know you hate me now but..."
"I'll hate you for the rest of my life," I said. "This isn't something that we can just move past."
And that is the basic start up jest of the story. Charlie trades Bella to pay off a gambling debt. Nice father of the year right? It gets better. Bella has to work in a strip club until the debt is paid off...or does she? It seems the head of the cartel is Edward but he is out of town at the moment so his crew is handling business, but not quite to his instructions. Hmmm...me thinks Edward will not be pleased when he finds out.
Bella is not your typical wilting violet and submissively accepting of her fate. She grew up hard and fast with a useless drug addicted mother and a father who was a dirty cop and obviously has no feelings for her. And even with the crappy cards she has been dealt, she is resolved to some how do better for herself. She is strong and level headed, but still a kid making kid mistakes and judgments.
Edward is strong, tough, and fair. He knows who he is and enjoys his life with no regrets.
The supporting characters are surprising as well. I even like Tanya so far, time will tell, but so far not your typical classless trollop as she is normally portrayed.
The story is only 12 chapters in but you can get a real good feel for the story. It is definitely thought provoking and an attention grabber. I am liking it!
Give it a try and let me know. Eternallyinlove does have a way with words!
In Love and War by @vRSoup
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6348113/1/In_Love_and_War
Summary: History is what defines us, personal and otherwise. To conquer it, one must decide not what they love more, but what's more important, and where one stood—with ALL things considered—could make all the difference.
Suited up. Armor polished, gazing out at those who *gather pitchforks, saws, and flame throwers*
Yes, I have strayed from my beloved Edward. I have gone to all new heights of OCC. Rumors are true, I can not deny it. I have fallen for a Caius / Bella story. *gasps* A self proclaimed canon girl accepting Bella with someone other than Edward?
And with Caius? *breaths in paper bag* How did this happen?
Well, you see, what had happened was...I stumbled across the gorgeous banner for In Love and War and was curious. I then started following the author, RaindropSoup and her stunning blog. And you know me, the stalking commenced.
I just needed to know things about the story that had me completely fascinated. RaindropSoup was kind enough to entertain my curiosity and was even willing to answer my questions about what led her to writing this brilliant story. Yes, the story line is brilliant.
In all seriousness, In Love and War is just one of those stories where the story line completely grabs you, regardless of the pairing. And though the pairing is completely surprising, it is the story on a whole that has me.
We begin one year after New Moon and Bella this time has emerged as a much stronger person and embraces her future. A definite departure from the typical New Moon stories. But fate has other plans for Bella and she is thrown back in to the world of the supernatural head first.
We have Victoria, Jacob and the wolf pack, the Volturi, and the spirit warrior, Taha Aki. The author also enlightens us on her take of the Quileute legend and it is completely original and excitingly fraught with realism.
The story jumps right in with Bella kidnapped by Victoria and Jacob trying to save her. We are then brought in to the world of the Volturi and their higher purpose for Bella as well as why they are in Forks. I completely devoured chapters 1 and 2 with the surprising twists and turns as well as heart stopping excitement...
And with Caius? *breaths in paper bag* How did this happen?

Oh, shit. I gaped at him and then phased back along with the others, except for Paul.
No one but the most trusted in the tribe knew the third wife's name. When Taha Aki left the tribe, he left that name to the tribe elders, along with specific instructions to use it as a safe word only. It was supposed to be used between the pack and someone we didn't really know. It was so we would know who we could trust. The name Akane was only said aloud during a couple ceremonies—not even uttered when the legends were told—and only the council elders were able to give it to someone to use.
We saw no need for it, really. But why give it to a bloodsucker?
The introduction of Caius was a complete surprise as well as his purpose. I was even more surprised at Caius' realization that Bella is his mate, something he never wanted. There is a deep feeling of sadness that comes from him and his initial refusal to believe what he feels and knows is true...
The introduction of Taha Aki and the Volturi connection is a key point to the story. There is a lot of history there. I love it. Being brought in to their worlds with such a different understanding than you are used to is somewhat, dare I say, empathetic. You will view the Volturi in a completely different light. They are definitely not shiny and bright, not even close, but they are definitely different than what we are all used to reading about them.
And Bella. She goes through some serious trauma culminating in a turning. And she is not happy about it at all. She is down right pissed off! And it shows spectacularly in the writing...
And as I gazed at her, I realized it was probably more than that. I felt the beginnings of a pull, and my priorities began to shift. That meant only one thing . . .
. . . mate.
I experienced immense jealousy while Jacob talked to her. I smashed my lips together and swallowed my growl when they uttered their affection towards one another.
Goddamn it, fate is a malicious and fickle whore, I thought. I. Do. NOT. Want. A. Fucking. Mate.
The first few chapters have some very dark content of abuse at the hands of Victoria and the atrocities Bella suffers. However, before you jump to any conclusions, RaindropSoup does a phenomenal job of alluding to the abuse without actually being graphic or even describing in any detail. But you definitely understand what Bella suffered. And you suffer with her. The writing of the darker chapters is heart felt and the emotions overwhelming. And as dark as they are, they are completely in proportion with the story line and add a necessary understanding to all the pieces of the story. And there are many. There is a cornucopia of characterizations and history going on, but again, written in way where you are not lost, the story completely flows.

Isabella's eyes snapped open.
She was off the bed in a second, immediately cloaking herself.
Before any of us could finish our gasps of surprise and awe, I was knocked back with so much force that she and I went through the door, into the hallway, before hitting the stone floor . . .
. . . and dropping four stories below.
Oh, fuck.
And let's not forget about the Cullens. They are a definitely part of the story. As is Edward. I am going to leave you with that, you'll have to read the story to see how they are involved. I know, evil of me.
In Love and War is well rounded and beautifully written. RaindropSoup pours her heart and soul in to every word, and it shows in her story line. A story line completely unique and filled to the brim with excitement, heart ache, despair, trauma, surprises, and dare I say it, love.
You will be hooked on the originality and the characterizations. A brilliant story. And....*whispering*... rooting for Caius...
And a special thanks to RaindropSoup for not doing the typical *bashing* of my beloved Edward as so many do in order to incorporate the OCC pairing.
This is a writer who can definitely weave a story without the usual cliche.
This concludes Part 1 of my Caius Weekend. Make sure you pop in tomorrow for my one on one chat with RaindropSoup as she tells us how she came up with this amazing story line!
Take What You Want by @Purelyamuse

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7716152/1/Take_What_You_Want
Summary: Based on January 2012 witfit prompts. Though Bella's known Edward for years, they've just started hanging out. His crass, smelly boy self is not appealing, but his looks and charm are. How will she deal with her feelings for the gross, flirty boy?
Dirtyflirtward has crept in to my heart. Pretty much the same way Masen did, slowly and permanently.
Purelyamuse has written two very different and completely diverse characters that grab at your heart and will not let go. And like Masen Days, Take What You Want is a story that will touch every emotion and hold you captive. That's not to say there wasn't hesitation on my part in approaching the story because it is a witfit. I dislike witfit's more than drabbles. I have absolutely no patience for them. But every once in a while, I am surprised.
A loved Masen Days. I still re-read it from time to time. I decided to trust Purelyamuse's story telling ability again. I am so glad I did, witfit or not.
Take What You Want is an amazingly funny and romantic story. This is an Edward like no other. Dirtyflirtward. I mean who writes an Edward like that? Edward is utterly perfect. Purelyamuse definitely had other ideas. Her Edward is crass, obnoxious, flirty, dirty, and smelly. Literally! And you will love him instantly.
The story starts out with Edward and Bella's first encounter in class. Yes, a high school fic, but not your typical high school setting. Bella has known Edward forever and does not like him. She finds him completely obnoxious and yes, stinky...
"Hey, sweet cheeks," Edward says, patting the seat across from him.
Oh, no. Not with the nicknames again. He's ridiculous; has a name for everyone. I seem to be the lucky one, though, because they just keep coming.
His grin is wide; auburn hair wild, and I want to hit him because I don't want him. I don't. Not at all. Not even a little bit.
Edward is just so...ew! As Bella bluntly puts it and her dislike for him shows...
The bell rings, and he gathers his stuff, leaving his paper behind. Like a fool I pick it up. And scan it. At the bottom in bold, capital letters is Bella Swan?.
I run into the hall, ready to throw it at him. He's just so . . . ew! As soon as I get there my temper flares up even more as he's chatting up some sophomore, his hand on her hip. She's giggling and fawning all over him. I storm over to him and push him into the locker.
"Hell, yes!" he shouts. "Now?"
"No, not now! Not ever!" I slam the paper into his chest and walk away, throwing open the heavy doors to the main walkway.
"I'll see you at Skateland!" he calls, laughter following. "Wear something sexy!"
But as the story unfolds, you see glimpses of their attraction. Edward is blatantly attracted to Bella and let's her know every day. Bella is hesitant and confused over her feelings for him. She doesn't like him. Does not find him attractive. Or does she?
I look up into his deep green eyes, and all I see is concern, maybe even love. "You tell me what you want. You want me to get rid of her right now, I will. In fact, consider it done. She's gone, out of the picture. All I want is you."
"This is such a mess," I say, wiping my eyes and looking away.
"It doesn't have to be. We can fix this. Together, we can. I know we can."
"How? Someone will get hurt. They haven't done anything wrong," I say, throwing my hand out dramatically toward the door.
"It doesn't matter. Sometimes we try to be with someone, and it just doesn't work. Some people don't mesh. We . . ." he says, thrusting a finger between the two us, "do. You know we do."
I nod and wipe my eyes again, catching more of my tears.
Take What You Want has me laughing and cheering for these two at every update. And the lovely Purelyamuse is updating every Tuesday and Thursday, which is fabulous because I can not get enough of these two.

The Search by @AmbersPen

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7345952/1/The_Search
Summary: When Bella Swan flees to London to escape her painful and humiliating past she doesn't expect her charismatic new boss to be quite so interested in her secrets... AH. Britishward. Rated M for language and lemons.
New comer Amber1983 is writing a romantic story with drama sprinkled through out. Bella has a painful secret. Edward is British, love that. Definite chemistry between them. Lot's of characters weaved through the story line. A story you will want to read. And if you love reading angst like I do, The Search will give you room to breath and sooth your heart. A definite feel good story.
I am loving this story. But then again, I do love a British Edward. Just seems so right.
Edward and Bella's dynamic, employer/employee is merely a back drop. Their relationship is so much push and pull that you are just devouring the chapters to see what happens next. Lot's of build up, which I like. They both have so much going on in their past and to ignore it and jump right in to "things" would water down the characterizations and leave no understanding for the readers why they are the way they are.
Amber1983, though new to the fandom, is doing a fantastic job of unwinding the characters and story line. The chapters flow very nicely and her writing makes you think more than a romance going on. And though a fun read, there are many nuances to her story as well as Britishisms that keep you on your toes.

This would be so much easier if she would just look at me but her eyes are in her lap, her hands clasped.
I clear my throat and attempt to steady my heartbeat.
"I feel terrible. I obviously...misunderstood the situation." I notice her face twitch slightly and the slight blush begins high on her cheeks.
I continue. "I was pretty battered, but I know that is no excuse. It was inappropriate for me to touch you and I'm really sorry."

The Single Game by @Awesomesauce416

Summary: New girl Bella Swan is finally ready to start dating again, but the only boy she's interested in is too shy to even talk to her. Why are her friends convinced that the answer to her problem is some crazy party game… with kissing?
I love Awesomesauce76! Who doesn't? She is really one of the most consistent storytellers I have ever come across. Her previous stories, Blood and Lust and Last Tango In Forks, definite favorites of mine.
The Single Game is a completely different venture. Awesomesauce76 has ventured in to the world of the drabble or drabblish story as well as a high school genre. At first I thought, what! no lemons?? She writes the most fabulous lemons. But, as consistent as she is, of course I was going to check it out. And I am so glad I did!
Though drabblish, you get enough of a chapter to keep you going without feeling shorted. All the uncertainty and awkwardness of high school is there as well as a shy and timid Edward. Love that! Bella is more the confidant one in this story, but not for long once Edward starts coming out of his shell.
Such a fun story that will make you smile every chapter! Thanks Awesomesauce76 for the plot bunny that just wouldn't go away!

"Hey… are you okay?" a soft, gentle voice asked beside me. "You seem a little upset."
"Huh?" I looked over at the concerned boy sitting next to me, blinking at me behind a pair of black-framed glasses. I think it was the most words I'd ever heard him put together at one time. "Sorry, Edward. Don't mind me today. I'm just a little preoccupied, I guess."
"Okay," he whispered, more to himself than me.
So, where was I? Oh yeah… how would I know when I had found him?

Burn by @VivCoLH

Ever have that guy friend that you wanted more from? The one that was there for you, held your hand and told you that he loved you. One day lines get crossed and there's no turning back. But what happens with that special guy friend can't make up his mind and someone else comes along? Which path do you follow?
Have you ever started a story where the central character annoys you? Where your just shaking your head wondering what in the world they are doing? Why they are making such bad judgement calls? Frustrating to the point where you want to flounce but don't because your curiosity gets the best of you?
Burn is that story for me and Lonely Housewife Confessions is weaving a tale that is making me crazy!
This is the story of Bella who loves the unavailable married Jasper, who by the way, is not a nice guy, and Edward, who is a nice guy and very available. Bella hangs on to the hope that Jasper will be with her one day even though he clearly gives her all the signs that it will never happen. Stringing her along selfishly. Bella continuously makes bad choices because the heart just wants what the heart wants. She meets Edward who is all kinds of perfect for her but frustrating us with her inability to decide who and what she wants.
Burn will frustrate and make you buggy at every turn to the point you just want to reach out and shake some sense in to her! The story is so well written that even though you are annoyed while reading, you stick with it. The writer gives you just enough hope that Bella will finally open her eyes that you just have to be there to see it.
Burn is Lonely Housewife Confessions first WIP posted having recently completed the Twilight 25. Normally I do not do double rec's on the same post but Rise Of The Phoenix developed out of a Twilight 25 prompt and is worth mentioning and definitely the read.

Edward comes to the US to attend Uni. He quickly figures out that being a barman isn't going to pay. What he does to ease the burden may not shock you, but his mum will definitely be upset.
