It's time to strap on your chaps and get to writin'.Who doesn't love a cowboy? We all know ladies love an outlaw, so paint his hat black and make us swoon. Give us the loyal country boy with a heart of gold, or the loner cowboy that leaves a trail of broken hearts when he hits the trail. The idea for this contest came from the appeal of that rugged, down-home man and the sweet sassy woman that gives him a run for his money and keeps him warm at night.
Country music is full of the heartache and trials lovers go through. They tell the stories of first love, sweet kisses, happily ever afters, and everything in between. Even though they are a story all on their own, we want you to dig deeper, tell the rest of the story. Take the inspiration from a song and give it your own twist.

With this contest, we've decided to do something a little different. Some people are visual--inspired by images and photos or things they see in real life. Others are inspired by what they hear--the music moves them. Whichever category you fall into, we're going to have you push the limits. You'll chose both; a picture prompt, and a musical prompt to tell the story.
