And the winner was .... Credoroza | Caius. Yup, that would be me!
No one was more surprised than me at the announcement. This was a public vote too so I am really happy so many got my version of Caius and why I find him to be perfect for Leah.
Well, not so much my version technically. This particular Caius comes from a story I am following, In Love and War by RaindropSoup. But that's where our love or hate comes from isn't it? The writers and their characterizations. RDS is writing such a powerfully volatile Caius that you just can't help loving him. And that's how I came up with my entry, based completely on a writers vision.
That's why these challenges on She Wolf Awards are so great. As a reader, it gives you an opportunity to participate and tell the fandom why you love a character. And you don't have to be a writer to enter. That's the beauty of the challenge. Why you love a particular character. How simple is that?
And....as a winner, you get a custom made banner of your winning choice and an interview. How fun is that!
Can't wait for more of these types of challenges and to see what the fandom comes up. Always so interesting to see other opinions of characters we all know and how they are viewed and loved, or not.
