Despite a successful college teaching career, Noah Daniels has become depressed. He feels he’s leading a monochromatic life: love has eluded him. When he’s offered a chance to teach in London as part of an exchange program, he accepts, hoping a change of scenery will do him good. But once he’s there, his outlook on love and sexuality changes in ways he never expected.

Robert Callinan is Noah’s English counterpart in the program. The men exchange not only their jobs, but also their homes, and it is what Noah stumbles across while staying at Robert’s house that sends him on a journey of self-discovery—both mentally and physically.

A journey that puts color back into his life… just not in the way he expected.

When the exchange program ends, Noah has to go home, but he doesn't know if he wants to return to the life he left behind.

Video book trailer for was made by Lex Valentine of

The song used in the trailer is by the British singer/songwriter/musician,

TOM ODELL and its called ANOTHER LOVE and its lyrics inspired a great deal of Noah’s story.

My Thoughts:

I thought this was a great story, obviously I am a fan of the author and her writing style. Lily Velden has an uncanny ability to express pure emotion and love from the boys in her stories.

My heart broke for Noah. Thinking for so long there was something wrong with him. Finally understanding his own realization to who he really is was just exhilarating as he took baby steps to his self discovery and acceptance.

Robert was even more heart broken. Never having love and his own walls he built around his heart just made me so sad.

When these two come together is was just amazing attraction, sparks, lust, fun, hopes, dreams, and love.
But of course the author just couldn't let them be in their joy. Nope, she had to throw us on her emotion roller coaster and take us for a ride! The hurt was just palpable, realistic, but oh wow did it hurt!!

Beautifully emotional story you won't want to miss!!

Great story, would definitely recommend it! Stalking is warranted. Highly suggest you do the same.

Hi, I’m Lily Velden, a quirky artist with a passion for the written word. I write M/M fiction, and, thankfully for me. Dreamspinner Press decided they liked my words enough to publish them!

I admit to being unashamedly idealistic and ridiculously romantic.

Sunday Shout Out is a bookish meme hosted by Monique of Write Note Reviews.

Is there ever such a thing as too many books? I don’t think there are too many books to read, but there can definitely be too many to review. Often I’m sent books and, with an already sagging review shelf, these unsolicited books often often don’t fit in to my schedule.

Other times, I am unable to finish a book I intended to review (for various reasons), or I don’t have time for a full review.

Sunday Shout-Out aims to acknowledge these books and the publishers who have sent them to me.

If you’re a book blogger and you want to join in, just:

1. Share the title, author, blurb and image from a book (or more than one) you want to acknowledge
2. Share the genre, price and link to the publisher so readers can follow up if they like the sound of the book
3. Ping back to Write Note Reviews in your post.

That's it! A great way to acknowledge all the stories you just quite get a full review posted or just a boost to the author in general.
