Sounds a bit funny considering the contest ended and the winners were announced in February. It was a fantastic turnout and I am looking forward to our next contest this summer. And I say "our" because I am on staff and love this site. Nothing pleases me more in the fandom than seeing the under-fictionated stories and writers get a boost and the recognition they so highly deserve.

Many thanks to our leader and founder, mkystich for coming up with the awards and putting everything together.

And another mighty thanks to Ysar for making us look so pretty. As well as a big round of cheers to the staff who took the time to validate and judge all the entries... 7 Ace, kellyprovence, orrington.rose, Ninmesarra, and credoroza.

Now that I have finished fawning, and it is May, why am I announcing the winners...well, part of the winning prize, aside from the gorgeous banners, were interviews with the winners. Mkystich has been having quite the battle royale with blogger trying to get them to post. And anyone who uses blogger, myself included, knows sometimes you win a few, sometimes you lose a few.

We have some wonderful interviews we have been chomping at the bit to get posted and are going to start running them one by one over the next few days. I have wrestled the blogger monster and so far have him in a choke hold, hence why they will be posting from my site. 

And though they are delayed, these wonderful writers are not forgotten and mean the world to us as do our followers and everyone who took the time to nominate and vote.

The interviews are fantastic and some were down right hysterical.

These are definitely some talented ladies and I know you will enjoy each one of them as they post.
