This was organized to help the family of one of our own Twifans, Gisela(@Mad4Hugh), pay for the overwhelming costs that can come with funerals, etc.

Gisela was a beloved fellow twifan who was visiting San Diego for Comic Con when she was struck by a car and died upon arrival at the hospital. 

Many of us knew her, loved her, or spent time tweeting with her. Some of us didn't know her at all and still, the news of her death hits us hard.
